I am looking for information on two ancestors whom I have found in the 1881 British Census.

Here they are:

Thomas Bridgewater, b. c. 1823 Stoke, Shropshire

and his wife:

Maria, b. c. 1822 Nean, Shropshire

Any information on their parentage, marriage or children would be most helpful.

(not sure about the transcribing for the parents birth place as it has been struck through and is illegible)

Thanks, that's a lot of interesting information. It shows some other children I didn't know about.

Can anyone find Thomas's birth or christening in the parish records? Is it possible to find his marriage to Maria?
