If Edna lived in England you could check all possible census records to see what is listed as her place of birth. If she was born in England you could then order her birth certificate (if born 1837 or later).

But she is on 1871 and 1881 censuses as the daughter of Henry & Elizabeth Bryant, and born in Tytherton, Wiltshire.

I did a quick search in a few databases and found several Edna Elizabeth Bryants. Only 1 had a mother named Nora but the details didn't fit with "Nora would have been born early 1800's."
Hopefully decota will be able to find them in census records or give us more detail so that we can try to help.

You probably meant to type in early 1890s and I think I'd found them the other day but didn't keep a note because Nora's year of birth was too far out  :-\ The important detail missing at this stage is whether or not Bryant was Norah's maiden name or her married name.

Not sure if the family KGarrad found is the correct one.
Norah in 1911 (age 18)- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X7VG-J2S

Here's another possibility (not the one I found earlier)-
1911 census - Nora Bryant (b.c1890) https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWQM-KQ6

Have to go out now but if you post more information when you get it we might be able to find the right family.

Hello all
I have now more information,   found Nora Bryant on several Register of Electors
She is with a Arthur Gilbert Bryant in the 1939 Register of Electors, City of London.
Below is his military Medal Rolls Index
http://search.ancestry.com.au/cgi-bin/sse.dll?ti=5544&indiv=try&db=medalrolls&h=2509775

The address on the Military record is the same as the one of the 1939 Register of Electors
But  I can't find his original enlisting document.  The above does not have his regiment Number...or am I missing something.???

Nora Bryant, (Arthur's wife?),  Bryant will be her married name so still working on her single name.

Would her marriage Certificate have her parents names,  ( if she was married to him?)
Can I order a certificate without her single name?

Maybe you can help me with Arthur Gilbert Bryant's death date, birth, marriage, and more about his military records.
Thank you all for all your help

There is this marriage on freebdm
Marriages Sep 1933
Bryant    Arthur G    Wilkins    London C.    1c   61
Marriages Sep 1933
Wilkins    Nora    Bryant    London C.    1c   61

Perhaps we can rule this one out as coincidence -
with Edna Elizabeth Bryant being born in 1914, unless Nora was a widow and already had children.

He seems to be the only Arthur G Bryant marrying between 1900 and 1940 though (at least on free bdm)

There seems to be no Edna Elizabeth Bryant b 1914 on there making me think she was born overseas?
