Pantryn ? Farm
« on: Sunday 08 March 15 11:47 GMT (UK) »
Have been given information from a "lister" that Pantryn in Mounmouthshire is indeed Panty yr ynn farm  Have just spent 3 hrs looking in the 1911 census for this place and who was occupying this farm with I believe aWilliam Morgan The name Pantryn was given  as the residence of William Morgan when he registered the death of his mother Mary Morgan in 1911 So even with the information which I have been supplied for which I am very grateful I would still like if possible for help in finding out who was living with WilliM Morgan Asking a lot but would be appreciated Regards Eirwen

Thank you for showing an interest in my research The name Elizabeth was given to me by another "lister" But I cannot locate the family and did they have any children Without this information I do not believe I can progress with my research. Cheers Eirwen

Is this your William Morgan with his mother Mary & his siblings living

If not could you please give the details as it might help with the search  :)

Do you know his father's name?
Do you have details of William on 1871 census with his parents?

Don’t know if this will be of any help – you may already be aware of this (dated 2009)

Pant-y-ryn could be the correct name place and this place could now be called Pantside Newbridge

A view looking back down Pantside Hill towards Newbridge……………….. The original 'Pant Farm' can be seen on the right (click link below)

William Morgan [Lady hawk]

For lady hawk The family of William Morgan k[snr] were living in the High Street LLantrisant in 1871  A PANTRYN IN 1911 was living in the house of a Mr Griffiths along with hs mother Mary, father William and brother John. In fact the appearance of his father William is the only recorded notice that I have ever found for him in all the years I have been looking. Hope this answers the question which you requested. Regards Eirwen
