Hi
Without checking, no link to my WELLS as the only Florence in my tree died in infancy 1903. My Wells were living at 6 Salem Cottages up till at 1925 least - and on 1939 Register they were at 70 School Lane, Bushey. Can check tomorrow in case I've missed anything.

Ok thank you.
Maybe the name Sophia or Sophie Wells as she was also known to be called that too.

Just going back threw all the post somethings seem familiar in ways.
Let me explain best I can.

I have made contact with a first cousin threw DNA who’s grandparents were. Robert John Morris and  Sophia (Sophie) Wells, they were believed to also have been first cousins ( which you mentioned happened several times in the family line) so I know what you mean about it becomes confusing.

You also mention military medals, This cousin I have made contact with has mentioned she believes someone in the family was awarded one, I will need to go threw my notes and see what she mentioned about it again.

I remember she said about the Wells/ Morris family running a theatre or something in Birmingham way , I see you mentioned about opera.

I am also going to check the names
Robert James wells as I am sure I have seen that name before.

HI

I will check for the names you mentioned - though Wells was quite a common surname in the Bushey area! No connections with Birmingham theatres as far as I am aware. Will get back to you - probably via private message on here.
