Have tried to enhance the whole article for you - not sure if I've made any clearer as it's quite difficult when it's from a newspaper.
Happy Birthday to the 103 year old, he must get his longevity from his Grandmother's genes!

My own Grandmother came from a family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers and together their combined ages were over 475 years!
