Having another go at finding my Ann Wallis.
I have found a marriage for an Ann Wallis to a Richard Wetherell in Hampstead Norris / Norreys on 24 Dec 1818. I have also found baptisms for two children with Richard and Ann as parents (but could be two couples given different locations:
William baptised 29 Sep 1819 Chieveley
Mary baptised 17 Feb 1822 Hampstead Norreys

Then I found the following burials:
Ann Wetherell buried 21 July 1824 at Beedon (residence Hampstead Norris) age 39 (b abt 1785)
Mary Wetherell buried 27 Jun 1825 at Beedon (residence Chieveley) age 3
William Wetherell buried 10 Dec 1826 at Beedon (residence Hampstead Norris) age 7
Richard Wetherell buried 22 Jun 1828 at Beedon (residence Hampstead Norris) age 39 (b abt 1789)

Unfortunately the burial record (transcripts) don't give information to be sure that these burials are all one family.
I have found the baptism of a Richard Witherell at Beedon on 20 Jul 1788 s/o Thomas and Jane, which would fit with the burial. But no baptism that would fit with Ann Wallis in Hampstead Norris, Chieveley or Beedon. (Marriage record said Ann was single).
My missing Ann Wallis was baptised in Chilton on 28 May 1786, so is very close to the one buried in HN who I think is Richard's wife.
Can anyone disprove this theory by finding a better candidate for the Ann who married Richard, please ?

Hi LizzieL,

I have had another look around for an alternative  "Ann Wallis/Wallace" baptism and cannot find anyone to replace the Ann (d/o Joshua & Ann" in 1786 Chilton.

I personally think this Ann must be the one who had Sarah in 1808.

Not much I know.
