Hi,

I've reached an impass on my research into Edward Conlon b 1846 ish in Athlone, his marriage cert lists his father as John Conlon who was a boot / shoe maker. I'm assuming that this was in Athlone but I have little information about Edward before he joined the British Army in Dublin aged about 13. Any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated!
