alternatively there is this Elizabeth Jones, born Llanelly, Breconshire and living at the Lion Inn in Gilwern 1871 (below) and the Navigation Inn, Gilwern in 1881. All born Llanelly except where shown

Phillip Jones    42 - limestone quarryman
Anne Jones    43 - b Cwmyoy
Jane Jones    10
William Jones    8
Elizabeth Jones    5
Mary Jones    3
David J Jones    4 Months
Mary J Saunders    23 - servant b Somerset

RG10, 5587, 20,  9

both pubs are still standing, but not operational and the Lion will be gone soon I believe in the A465 rebuilding works

her dad was Thomas jones, her mam was mary ann (skerm) before marriage. Elizabeth wasn't living with her parents. a funeral report for her brother says shes living in duffryn mawr 1914, then by 1922 it says Elizabeth morgan gilwern.
