hi, my great granma kate jose died in old cumnick in 1926.i would like to find out whee she is placed.but i dont know where to start.where abouts is old cumnick.is it big or small.is there a lot of churches there.any one reading this im sorry if i have mispelt it.i have tried to look up on the internet.but i dont get much up.thanks anyway regards julie.

I think you have wrong spelling and that is why you havn't found information.
Original Parish was Cumnock was then divided into two parishes of Old Cumnock and New Cumnock , both have comunity web sites also Ayrshireroots should give you history of churches etc .
If you type in either Old or New Cumnock that should start you off on some leads.
