St Andrews Church, Travis street, Ancoats, Manchester

The church was demolished in the 20th century.  My gt gt gt grandfather William Charles was buried there in February 1840.   Were the bodies exhumed? The site and a stone cross remain, but an industrial unit is built there with the graveyard concreted over for parking. Were any MIs taken from headstones?  Assistance gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

The congregation of St Andrews merged with All Souls on Every St when the St Andrews building closed, so the demolition of the churchyard may be documented in the All Souls archive material:
