I have Kerr/Carr ancestors in Co. Derry and both spellings were used there.
Mohan name could just be a mis-spelling of Moran.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I have an ancestor 'Michael DOWD' who is recorded in the UK 1901 Census as born in Londonderry.  Different documents give a birth date of approx 1861 to 1864.  His marriage Certificate indicates his father's name is Patrick DOWD.  The family was almost certainly Catholic.

Please advise which Parish to start looking in for his Birth Details?

griffths valuation of ireland only has one entry for dowd in derry.
anne dowd, templemore parish,townland of ballymagowan.

the valuation lists only tennants and landlords so there where probably more dowds than just anne dowd in derry at the time. registers of birth started in 1864,at the top end of your range for michaels birth.
