Margaret Ions B 1900 (UK)

Hi folks,

Margaret was born in the UK in 1900.

She emigrated to Canada 1920 ( ship documents say she was going to Winnipeg to stay with her Aunt Margaret Patterson on Alexander Av.)
I have her again in the 1921 census, in Winnipeg, as a lodger with another UK family called Landy, who were in Calgary, but after that I have not been able to find her again ( Marriage or Death).

Any help most appreciated

I THINK she may have married Cecil E LANDYMORE-son of the family she was with in 1921.

Have a look at the Canadian passengers list for an incoming for her in 1930.

Yes, I agree Maureen - great find  - Canada Voters List 1953/1958 - shows 110 7th Avenue NW - Cecil Landyman (Dept Manager) and Margaret

1968 - Cecil is retired - both listed at the same address as above.

The return Canadian Passenger List - 25 oct 1930 (Duchess of Bedford)  - mentions Margaret was born Gateshead.

Earliest listing on Canada Voters list is 1940 - living at the same address as above - Cecil E Landyman - occupation druggist and Mrs Cecil Landyman.
