Wow !! what a "tag"  team you both are.  Photo as well  ;D

Fantastic results.  I think the only thing you missed was "what they had for breakfast" on the day of the photo was taken.
Landry Tree as well  ::)

Thank you both very much.

Richard

Hi,
I see a short line in the Lethbridge Herald and the Medicine Hat news on Dec 2 1968.  Mrs Margaret Landymore, 67, died in a fire at her home in Calgary.  She died on Sunday (Dec 1).

Rk,

Thank you.   Margaret and her husband died the same year so I wonder if he died as a result of the fire as well, but maybe  a short while later?

Strange her mother was killed in a motor vehicle accident in the UK in 1962.  Not a lucky family!!!

Excellent find RK  ;)  How sad - awful when you read those ones  :'(  They both appeared in the 1968 Directory - the USA ones usually refer to the year before which would be 1967 if they are the same in Canada.  Both appear to have died within a short while of each other.

I don't know if they both died as a result of the fire.  Perhaps a full obit, or a more complete report about the fire might be in the Calgary newspaper.  I don't seem to be able to access that :'(.

I found the death of Cecil's brother Stanley in the Globe and Mail newspaper.  Stanley Robert Landymore died in Ajax Ontario on Sept 14, 1988.  He was the husband of Alma Ava Anderson.  Brother of Fred (Vancouver) and the late Cecil.  He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
