On one of the links whiteout7 posted there is a letter from Mary to her aunt. Mentions a sister but no name.

Her Aunt = Penelope Hope might = this

Penelope Law - aforesaid Spinster, Blackburn

following from the maiden name of Law i then found this marriage.. maybe Mary/Mollys' parents.

James Haydock - Yeoman, Parish of Blackburn
Jane Law - Spinster, Parish of Blackburn
Witness: John Nevill; James Haydock, Junr

Mary was a notable Australian whom we studied in primary school in Australia in the 1960's
