Married at Ballingarry RC Church. Fathers William Fitzpatrick a labourer (dead), and James? Walle a labourer (alive).

Kiltaglassan thanks for that. I do have that cert.  Ballingarry is certainly right as is the residence which I read as Commons. His father is also correct I just couldn't read her father. I am delighted that you think it reads James as that was her father! Oh and they are on one census as Walla.

Yes, Ellen Wall's father was definitely James, mother Mary Fitzpatrick. I have their marriage entry as well. Their son Patrick (b. 1881) is my g-grandfather.

And sorry -- to add, The Commons is a village in Ballingarry district. All my maternal kin are from there or nearby. My cousin Michael Fitzpatrick, who was a Gorey, Wexford-based historian, used to compere the annual Larry Wall commemoration in The Commons. He passed in 2019, and Covid put a damper on things as well, but his daughter Mary, myself and other family hope to re-ignite/continue the tradition next year.
