united states records of Frances (Fanny) Grant
« on: Friday 27 March 15 19:39 GMT (UK) »
I am seeking help in tracing a Frances Fanny Grant who emigrated to the united states around 1911 to 1925. We believe that she eventually resided in atlantic city. I would love to find her emigration or immigration records to the United states. Thanks to all.

Did you find Frances on the 1911 Ireland Census ? Did she have other siblings ?

Sorry, another question - was Frances related to Owen Grant who we looked for previously ?

marriage of Frances Grant
« Reply #5 on: Sunday 05 April 15 19:04 BST (UK) »
Would it be possible for one of my kind roots chat friends to have a look to find the possible marriage of a Frances Fanny Grant (female). She was born in Ireland Possibly if registered it would have been Inishowen or Londonderry Ireland and we estimate her birth year to be 1892/99. We believe that she may have married someone with the surname Ellis and that she may have resided at some time in Atlantic City. Any help with any records (Birth Emigration or Marriage)would be greatly appreciated. Regards.

Hi Advent,

You have a previous post re: Frances. There were a number of questions asked, but
you didn't post a reply.

I have asked a moderator to merge both, so that all information about Fanny is in one
place.

Cheers,
DB

PM says - Not related to Owen Grant.  Where might Frances have been born in Ireland. ?

Still cannot locate a passenger list fro Frances Grant born in that time frame.  Or a census in Atlantic City for a Frances Ellis.  :'(
Nothing turning up yet anyway.
