The marriage for William and Elizabeth is on this link but I can't find them in 1881.

Not sure the Illogan one isher either. The sister in law has the surname Trownce. there's an Elizabeth Trownce Warne, b Illogan c1867, with her husband and also her father William Davey on 1901

Thanks all.

Three strikes and I'm out. At a loss how to proceed further.

Hi last one. has anyone thrown out the Eliza Davey aged 5 (looks to have a twin Emma) in huge family headed by a William & Elizabeth in Linkinhorne, Liskeard
Census ref RG10/2235/55/2

Could I just ask, who was the informant of her death?

Just to add that keyboard86's Eliza is recorded by ancestry as age 50 in 1871.

I can see her in 1881, still looking for a suitable marriage (or death).

@ Reply #14, informant on Death Certificate was RM James, Clerk...possibly from the Hospital or the Funeral Director? Everything else seems to add up: 76 at death, 23 at marriage, born Cornwall, Length of Residence UNKNOWN!

@ Reply #12, witnesses to marriage were William Blake and Mary (looks like) Mallaby. (I have some doubts about that being the correct spelling.) Mary is "of Broken Hill" so she's travelled quite a distance to be there. As you would know a lot of Cornish miners ended up in BH.

So if she is connected to BH, possibly I should be looking at NSW shipping arrivals to find her.

Thanks for the info, Spike

Cheers
