If you take the 1895 marriage and have George born 1913 as eldest child that means a gap of 18 years before they had children, and then they have 1 a year for next 3 years.

Very often mistakes with transcribing names means looking for similar names. My g-granny has a different surname in church record and civil record and the vicar was registrar for both.

Frances did marry to a Baker and died in Torbay a few years ago.

I havent seen the actual marriage certificate but from the 1911 census it looks like they had a total of 11 children with the above 4 siblings being the last to be born.

Um-Only because mmn wasn't added until (foggy brain) late 1911?

If it's the family I was looking at.......wow....there were many children.
