I've been searching too and can't find anything better :)

If Hannah died six months after the marriage it could explain why there are not any children to that marriage.

The Probin children shown on the 1871 census are Ann's children and I know from the link to the other post that Christina was illegitimate and so presume the others must be too.

The three Walker children born after William and Ann's marriage must be theirs.

Well - that's the one I picked out also....there must have been at least a dozen ...but William being aged 27 at the marriage fitted best - aged 30 when he marries Ann Probin

Hallo you two, who have been doing a super job!
Thank you for baptism of Hannah.

I found another possible death of a Hannah Walker.
Here they both are from FreeBMD. Both quite close.
1866/4 Great Boughton 8a/233
1866/2 Congleton. 8a/202 Aged 26.

Talking of the children on the 1871 and 1881, there was a John Walker b 1864 Bunbury which is where William & Hannah married and just a stone's throw from Peckforton.

The other Walker children on the 1871 and 1881 were all born Malpas which makes sense. Walter in 1869, William 1870, Anne 1875 and Ellen 1877 then must be children of William and Ann whereas the John above could be a child of William and Hannah.

That just leaves those PROBIN grandchildren on the 1871. We know from other posts that Christina was illegitimate. I'll deal with all those another day. You've all done more than enough to help. I am so grateful.

if you go to
www.cheshirebmd.org.uk
deaths
Walker
Hannah
1866 and look at
Hannah Walker aged 25 TATTENHALL ,Cheshire West
you will see by Bumbles post of the 1865 marriage - William Walker of Tattenhall - Hannah is aged 25 - and 6 months later she has passed away - in Tattenhall and still 25 -
so Bumbles post of the marriage and death were absolutely spot on ... :)
well done Bumble ...great work
