Pheobe Ellen Ferniough (Where & When was she born?)

I have asked questions about the lady above before (March 2014) (perhaps on the Derbyshire BMD) but I am not able enough to provide the thread to the discussion perhaps a more able person can.

However I have returned to the forum since my last enquiries as I have had more information but it hasn`t really helped me.

Pheobe Ellen Ferniough is my gg grandmother.
I am unsure  when she was born and would like to know.

The following census provide the following information on her

1851 living at   Colshaw  Hollinsclough Derbyshire with Ellen Lomas aged  7 visitor born derby
1861 living at  Colshaw  Hollinsclough Derbyshire with Ellen Lomas aged 17 boader born Leek
1871 living at  Colshaw  Hollinsclough Derbyshire with Ellen Lomas aged 27 born Leek (now called Wain and living as a widow)
1881 living at Winterside Hollinsclough (with new husband William Bennet)  aged 37 born Leek
1891 living at Hope Cottage aged 47  born Leek
1901 living at Chapel en le Frith aged 57  born Leek
1911 living at school House Burbage aged 67  born Leek visitor to Urban and Mary Jane Flander

I have the marriage cert for her first marriage at Earl Sterndale in 1864 to Isaac Wain where her age is given as 20 (no farther is entered therefore I presume she is illegitimate)
Her second marriage doesn`t give details of her farther either.

There are some mentions for    Ferniough on the Staffordshire BMD below

Staffordshire Birth indexes for the years: 1841
FERNIHOUGH  Ellen  Norton  Newcastle-Under-Lyme
FERNIHOUGH  Phoebe Ann  Ipstones  Newcastle-Under-Lyme

Staffordshire Birth indexes for the years: 1842
FERNIHOUGH  Phebe   Audley   Newcastle-Under-Lyme

however none of them seem to fit the information above

I estimate she should have been born in either 1843/44/45

but have not found anything in the Staffordshire BMD that seems to fit.
If any one has  got any pointers I would be really greatfull

I can't find the 1851 census that you refer to but I did find Ellen Fernyhough a visitor at Fawfieldhead which is quite close.

Sorry I'm a bit rushed at the moment but if this any use I can elaborate better probably tomorrow

Thank you very much for your response, but the census data and her age at the time of her first marriage makes me think she must have been born around 1844.
Also on both marriages she never gives the name of her father, making me think she is illegitimate.
Also she is living in Hollingsclough in 1851, 1861 and again in her widowhood in 1871 with the same family but never with a family that has her name.
I can`t explain it.

I couldn't locate the 1851 census that you pointed out but found a visitor at Fawfieldhead a few miles away have you checked that out?

Modified - I found Ellen Lomas in 1851 in Hollingsclough but not with  Ellen Fernyhough 
I see Phoebe now but then Ellen in 1861 - very confusing indeed

There is a possible marriage that may be Pheobes mother

Elizabeth Fernihough married Joseph Barnes 1844 All Saints, Glossop FreeBMD 1/4 Hayfield 19 437

Now interestingly Ancestry also has a marriage of an Elizabeth Fernihough 22.4.1844 Ipstone Staffs to a James B...? both fathers called James on FreeBMD this is spelt Fernihogh and it is a James Bennett

If she has Pheobe about 1843 this would be before she married James or Joseph
