« on: Sunday 05 April 15 18:26 BST (UK) »
Hi
Edward John O'Brien died on 23 April 1950 age 64  in Knocknagow, Drumaness Ballynahinch.  He was a Roman Catholic and taught in Drumaness school .  I have no idea were to find a record of his burial and would welcome ideas.
many thanks.

It does depend if he came from the area or had put down roots in the area.  But being the teacher, he probably would be remembered by the school or the local parish priest

nowdays it is Magheradrool day nursery part of St Patricks primary School Ballynahinch, I  am most impressed by http://www.stpatricksps.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=42&Itemid=93

Ros Davies has a long entry for churches in Magheradrool civil parish including
Magheradrool   Catholic:
Christ the King   in Drumaness , on the western side of the Newcastle Road; announcement of new church 18 Apr 1935; the new church dedicated 30 Oct 1936; garden party 17 Jul 1936; photo available
Then I found
Mr.   Edward J.   O'BRIEN   .   Magheradrool   principal of Drumaness Primary School in 1924 & 1926 & 1928; photos available ; M.C. at Drumaness Football Club whist drive 13 Sep 1928   MO 2 & 9 & 18/3/2005; DR * ; Marie Jo Hughes; HPM p 28
Edward   O'BRIEN   .   Magheradrool   a student at Drumaness Primary School in 1928; photo available   MO 16/3/2005
see http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/SURNAMES/O/OaOg.htm

 I then went onto google

Alas unable to open it . Appears the notice is in the Irish Independent . However when trying to open it says paper not available in my country--all very confusing. But at least I know what paper it was in. Just have to find another way of accessing it. Grateful for everyone's help.
