When and where did Eileen and James marry?

There are restrictions on more recent records for data protection.

It looks like they married in Birmingham 1947 and had son Roger gunning in 1947  thank you

We're not going to find anything on them in Ireland so, think the best thing you can do is get Roger's birth cert and/or his parents marriage cert.
The marriage cert will confirm Eileen's father's name and I'd expect his occupation.
