Well-found whiteout7  :)  :)

If the father entry had been Dubbo or Wee Wah or Goondiwindi etc,  I would have suspected it was a town rather than a possible father name.   ;D   But Albert ...?

cheers,
   Ros

Hi Karryn,
It was whiteout7 who found the useful info about burial (congrats whiteout7 :)  ).

cheers,
   Ros

adding : I have only lived in NSW for thirty years so still finding my way around  ;D ;D

Hi Karryn,

You can purchase a transcription of the marriage certificate which should record Edward's age and occupation, his birthplace and the names of both parents including his mother's maiden surname.

Added info:
Erereman Station had once covered 400,000 acres, Covering a radius from  Condobolin to Cobar - Euabalong, Albert and Nymagee all where within the radius of this station at this time.
I was confused also until I spoke with the Historical society at Condobolin..

I think you would have to wonder if his father was Albert E Keed b 1863, father Emery Marchant Keed. I would get the transcript like Dundee says to check that my guess is correct.

Registration Number:  3294
Year:  1921
KEED, EDWARD
COE,   MARGARET
Registered at WELLINGTON

Emery Marchant Keed (of) Junee came from London, England
http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/141932973?searchTerm=%22Emery%20Keed%22&searchLimits=

This would link your family back to the Keeds in Junee, NSW as this man had two more sons Frederick.G.Keed (of) Junee and Alfred Keed as well as Albert Keed.

#Theory untill proven

Not really Rosball, I think you found the way in :)

Yes!  This is my thought also, however I am in communication with a direct descendant of Alfred E. Keed who is very knowledgeable about his family line and who has also been very helpful.
There has been no direct link so far, and I must say my Keeds are Aboriginal and his are European but in saying that - we don't know the cultural background of Edward "Ted" Keed except he married an aboriginal woman and that there are so many similarities in first names with both families (coincidence or not??)
I feel as though the dots are joining so quickly and I cannot express my gratitude to you guys enough!!
I think I might go down this path and dig a little deeper if I can.
Thank you

I think you would have to wonder if his father was Albert E Keed b 1863, father Emery Marchant Keed.

Albert E. KEED died in 1864, Charles died in 1856, and Alfred died in 1865.  Frederick George appears to be their only surviving son.

The Alfred KEED your contact is descended from would be the son of Frederick, born in 1884.
