As you are in contact with a grandson, it might be useful to say which child he is the son of, so we do not look for information that he already has.

Thank you to everybody who helped me last night. I am now looking for verification of a marriage between Charles Henry Albert MOYCE and Elizabeth MARTIN. They were married at Sevenoaks I believe in the third quarter of 1897. I wonder if anybody has the parish records and could find where they were married or send me a copy from the parish records. Failing that is there a researcher at Kent archives who does look ups. As I am in Suffolk I am finding this difficult. Maybe I should have a holiday in Kent!!

I cannot find any parish register or on select marriages further details -that doesn't mean to say there isn't one!!!!

If they married at a register office the only way to get details of the marriage would be to purchase the marriage cert - you can do it online from GRO cost under £10 -well worth it for fathers' names and occs witnesses etc
