Robyn McDonald died in the Superstorm DUNGOG 2015
« on: Tuesday 05 May 15 00:12 BST (UK) »
Tracing her living relatives in England.

There is a death registered in Sydney 1972 of a Norman George McDONALD it is published in the Sydney Morning Herald 6th April 1972.

Can anyone do a lookup of the notices to see if the above Robyn is mentioned. She died in the storm and all her papers are missing they are looking for relatives of the Woman.
See: Scotland Topic.

Wife not named in the death notice  :'(

Smh 6 April 1972 page 26.    (so if looking at google news, look for page 1 of smh 7 April 1972, and it is on the left hand side of that page 1).

McDONALD, Norman George.  March 29 1972 (suddenly), father of B & C, son of L and brother of D.   Privately cremated.

(I have not typed up the full names, but I will send details to Neil via PM)

Cheers,  JM

Yeh.. ;D I like to remind a great friend of mine that he is only worth "Ten Quid"

Gees everyone nearly that came from the 1950's to mid 70's was a ten pounder. Look at the contributions many have made and their children and their childrens, children will. ;)

More info here
http://www.dungogchronicle.com.au/story/3054513/memorial-service-for-third-dungog-flood-victim/

Robin Reid MACDONALD.

Ms McDonald had no relatives in Australia but word of her passing has made it to England, and messages of condolence from them were read to the service.

In an eerie coincidence it emerged that her half-brother David Watters, died in hospital in England where he was being treated for dementia.

Her nephew Sean Watters said his father shared Ms Macdonald's love of animals.

Hi, that's great news Cando, I was about to give them "The Chronicle" a call to see if anything had come of the enquiries.

At least they now know of her passing.

Hey Alan,    Cooking.... ::)

Australia is like a great big fresh crusty Salad Roll, some of the fillings alone don't seem much, some are bitter, some are spicy, all sorts of colours, some are fresh and sweet. PUT the lot together and Wow great feed. Bite a big chunk off, you get the lot.

The Metaphor :P
