Margaret Lun

Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a Margaret Lun (surname often spelt as Lunn) birth registered in 1859 at Gateshead.

On the 1861 Census for Gateshead she is aged 1, place of birth Gateshead and living with her grandfather Andrew Lunn, his son William, and two unmarried daughters Mary Ann aged 23 and Rebecca aged 18.

On the 1871 Census for Gateshead Margaret is aged 11 and still living with grandfather Andrew, place of birth Bensham. By this point both Mary Ann and Rebecca Lunn have both married - Mary Ann to Joseph Adam Neal in 1864 at South Shields, and Rebecca to Henry Hunter in 1864 at Hull.

Cannot find Margaret after this point in either marriages, deaths or census returns.

If anyone can help with Margarets parents, or what happened to her I would be very grateful!

To find her parents ot will be best to buy a copy of her birth cert.  She could be an illegitimate child of either Mary Ann or Rebecca, or a child of William, or a child of a sibling who is not living there in 1861 (did Andrew have other children?)

This looks like the family in 1851 transcribed as Lam. Andrew seems to change his place of birth in each census. I would guess that Margaret is illegitimate and, unless there is an older daughter, that her mother is either Mary Ann or Rebecca, you may need to get her birth certificate to find out which one.
