The description from the link doesn't fit does it. It says only the four walls were left standing after the fire, so assuming they didn't tear it down and start again, I can't match the walls, as in the placement of the windows etc, to the mystery St Andrew's.  Also the article talks about a spire in 1915.

What does everyone else think?

We are of course, assuming it is in the UK.  Could be anywhere really.

There was a St Andrew's in Bath destroyed by bombs in 1942 and subsequently torn down, but I can't find pre bombing photo good enough for comparison.

It looks like a substantially sized church to me, so you would think it would be easy to locate.

Surely there can't be many more St Andrew's destroyed in the war.   Found two…dare I say..third time lucky!?!  ::)

Sorry Caz, third time not lucky.

But another St Andrew's ruined in WW2 - this time in Hull.
Similar, but not the same.
