Please date this very old Photograph! Unknown Family Member!
« on: Monday 18 May 15 18:18 BST (UK) »
Hello!

Whilst looking through some photographs with my auntie, we found this what appears to be a very early photograph. We do not know who the family member is at this moment in time but I would love to know how early this was created.

The photograph has been held by my auntie, who is a family member from the Beacock side of family. This suggests that it could have been the possession of either my grandfather (Frederick Allan Beacock) or my grandmother (Thelma Baxter).

The photograph has a blank back and is on fairly thin paper.

Also, can anyone direct me to the appropriate forum to get the family member identified?

Thank you for your help in advance!!

Tony.

From what I can see it looks Edwardian, hair style and pouched over bodice of dress.
So roughly  1900 to about 1912 or so.
What a shame you have no clue to the identity. Viktoria

That's great thank you for your help Viktoria! Any ideas on the method of creating a photograph like this?
