What browser are you using - have you tried with another to see if that makes any difference?

A few minutes ago Ancestry did not show the 'Sign out' button. Closed Safari, restarted computer, opened Safari and then Ancestry. Logged in and now 'Sign out' button available ... and working OK.

I am on Internet Explorer and  have never had any problem . I connect through Virgin network at home, but have just been on holiday and have been connecting though the hotels wi-fi, the connection wasn't very good at one time so I seem to think I have played around with it to try to get a better signal and I have pressed something I shouldn't have and caused the problem.

Have you tried logging out of Virgin and logging back in again manually rather than letting it connect automatically. Or perhaps turning the router off and rebooting to see if that clears it?

:)My desk top computer is fine so it must be something on my laptop, I am struggling to reply as the curser is not flashing in the reply box.
