Hi

I have a marriage between a Thomas HATFIELD and Sarah Unknown. The index has either Sarah GREENDALE or Sarah WOODHOUSE.

In a later census it appears that my Sarah has a middle name, perhaps starting with A.

Can anyone confirm which bride please?

gives a list of the placenames of the registration district found on the freebmduk for the certificate reference you are enquiring about.   In this particular case there is not a great deal of the prs on line and it would be cheaper and more effective to purchase the certificate.

Hi

The Notts marriage parish register has a Thomas Hatfield marrying a Sarah Greendale on 26 Jun 1841 at Sneinton, St Stephen.

There is also a Sarah Woodhouse marrying a John Dann on 28 Jun 1841 at Sneinton, St Stephen.

Marriage details: St Stephen's Church Sneinton 26 June 1841
Thomas Hatfield, full age, Bachelor, cordwainer, of Element Place, father Thomas Hatfield a cordwainer
Sarah Greendale, full age, Spinster, of Element Place, father John Greendale a F.W.K
Thomas Hatfield signed and Sarah put a X.
witnesses were James Foalkes? and Sarah Baxter? both put an X sorry it was a bit hard to make out the surnames of those two as its a bit faded.
