If that 1806 Burial is the right Stephen, Wife Elizabeth may have remarried Christopher HEWIS 1811 (FreeREG), down as a Widow

Christopher/Elizabeths Daug SUSANNAH was Buried 29 May 1815 Bratoft and Mother ELIZABETH age 44 the same day.

free bmd has her down as Horness, but presumably you knew this as that was why you were looking for her in 1861:

Hi all
        Thank you all for your information.  I had a bit of trouble with the Veal name and it's spellings.  I have a Neal Harness baptised 22/10/1833 at Croft which might be Veal.
