Family Tree Maker problem
« on: Thursday 21 May 15 20:32 BST (UK) »
Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I have never had any trouble with the programme before. But I can't type in dates, I can type in names but nothing in dates. I have tried shutting down FTM and starting again and I have tried rebooting PC.

Any advice will be gratefully received. :)

Might be a silly question but can you type numbers elsewhere ie is it the programme or is it the numbers on your keyboard?

An obvious one, but have you tried compacting the file?  Its worked for me before when odd little things have happened.
