Have you found a birth registration? Could she be Susannah's illegitimate child?

I wonder whether she might be Jacob's niece sister, not his daughter?  There is a baptism for Ellen Anderton, daughter of William and Mary Ann, in Gt. Packingham on 13 January 1856, and an Ellen, daughter of William, later marries Charles Birch - details match.  As far as I can see, William and Mary Ann are Jacob's parents.

Hi

I agree with the previous post although:

I wonder if she was actually Jacob's younger sister. There is a baptism of an Emma Anderton Jan 13th 1856 Parents William and Mary Ann Anderton Abode Meriden Occ labourer Parish Great Packington . Sister Emma was baptized the same day.

There is a marriage of Ellen Anderton 24 Nov 1885 to Charles Birch in Meriden where her age is given as 30 and her father is named as William Anderton, labourer.
