Regarding the births in India, they may not be in the 'normal' registers, but will be considered British Army births and held as a separate record set... British Army Births overseas... On Find my Past, you will need to put in the name, but under the location, It needs to be set to Britain... to pick up the military service, but to narrow down the births, you can also use Other, or Unknown? The bottom two selections under Britain... they show the army and consular births.
