Where Am I? No.35 - Ugly Church

Had a feeling No. 34 would be a fast result, so I already had 35 prepared!  ;D

I've tried zooming in on the sign but unfortunately the writing is too small to read.  :(

Is it ugly because it is modern? I would say 1960s/70s build

It looks like quite a large building, I wonder if it was built at the same time as the surrounding housing?

It looks massive doesn't it?  Very unappealing building.

Agree with you about the 70s Caz, but I would say the 60s was just as bad.
However, I think this church might be 1930s. It does look austere but not as ugly as modern ones.  :) They wouldn't have built anything as nice as that in the 70s.  ;)

Such a shame about the sign being unreadable. I think all that you need to know is sitting right there.  :)

Working my way through taking-stock.org.uk which is a database of catholic churches in England and Wales.  St barnabas in molesey is not a match but has similar architectural features.
