Convicted at Surrey quarter sessions at Newington in January 1811.

Sarah Bowbrick was a single woman. Accused by Mary Randall, of Esher, of stealing 3 old silver teaspoons, a new check apron, 2 basins of Japan'd tea, a cannister, 3 pairs of hose and a cap belonging to her, and 2 new shirts and a pair of new shoes belonging to George Sily, Randall's lodger. Crime committed at Esher on 20 October 1810.

Sarah BOWBRICK also appears in records with her name as BERBRICK & BABRIEL.

She married another convict:

Sarah BERBRICK m. Christopher FLOOD 1812
St John's, Church of England, PARRAMATTA, NSW.

Is your interest in the convict Sarah BOWBRICK because you are collecting them for your wife's book in case there is a connection & for your One Name Study of that name?

Hi ShaunJ and Merline. :) Thank you for the info. Merline  in answer to your Q. one name study, but I am finding that all the Bowbricks  one way or other are connected, the Bowbrick family up to the 1900 are but a small band, Sarah is one I was unable to find any info on. My wife's blood line is complete back to the 1780's and if one connection is proven then it will be back to the 1500. The Surrey Bowbricks and the London Bowbricks are well connected, the Portsmouth Bowbricks came from the London Bowbricks. Thank again for the Info. All the best Bruce. :)
