Hi sre,
I managed another hour today on your post and below are my findings.
William HINKS & Mary STEPHEN married by Banns October 15, 1717.
Thomas HICKS bur May 5, 1720.
John ye s/o Charles HICKS was bap 6th December 1722.
Mary d/o Charles HICKS bap 29th November, 1724.
Charles s/o Robert HICKS bap 23rd January, 1725.
Charles s/o Robert HICKS bur 6th January 1725.
NB: I got a 2nd opinion on the above 2 entries and we both believe the Vicar made a mistake.
Mary d/o Charles HICKS bur 22nd May, 1727.
Catherine d/o Jonathan HICKS bur 20th October, 1727.
John s/o Robert HICKS bap September 10th, 1729.
I shall re-start 1730/31 next Tuesday. Transcribing up to 1740 is as far as need to go I believe?

Hi Victor

Many thanks for taking the time on Saturday to look for me ......

I think the Charles Hinks that you found on Tuesday s/o Charles and Elizabeth bap 3rd May 1715  must be the Charles bur 6th Jan 1725 ..... so that's that one sorted .....

1740 is when I find my Betty bap at Bibury so I am guessing that this branch of the family moved to Bibury around this time .....

I have a copy of a Will for a Samuel Hinckes of Northleach dated 12.6.1722 and wonder if you could look for a burial for him in the year following .... He is described as "sick and weak in body" so I am guessing he had not long to live .... don't worry too much on this one as he had no living children, his will only mentions his wife ......

Once again many thanks for taking the time to help me, it is much appreciated ...

Regards

Hi sre,
I have already covered c.1722 from the Northleach BTs, so he may have been buried elsewhere.

Hi sre,
I have, today, managed to inspect the PR 1730/31 to 1736/37 and disappointingly only found the following:-
William LAWRENCE & Susanna HINKS married by Banns, April 7th, 1735.
I'll continue the search up to 1740 on Saturday. Perhaps William & Susanna's children's baptisms will be recorded.

Hi Victor

Many thanks for looking for me ....... I do hope you have not strained your eyes too much, I know how difficult some of the micro film/fiche can be to read ......

Hi Victor

Many thanks for all your help with the BT's for Northleach ...... I am now busy sorting through them to try and make a connection with my Bibury family ......

Once again many thanks, your help is much appreciated by those who are unable to visit the RO in person .... keep up the good work .....

Kind regards
