Hi,

My wife's great, great grandmother Alice Shirley  was born around 1830 near Kidlington. Her parents were Thomas and Rebecca Shirley.

Any further information from the census or other records most welcome.

1841 - the following are in Woodstock workhouse. All born in county

Thomas Shirley - 30, ag lab
Alice - 11
Emma - 9
Alfred - 6
Hannah - 3

Hannah - 13
Albert Macpherson - son in law 22, rail lab, b Sussex, Farnb [?]
Alice Macpherson - daughter, 21, married
Reuben Shirley - grand son aged 2
