We still do not have any idea of who James Heather is eg Father/Age/Place of birth, this marriage certificate would provide possibly valuable clues?!

I really do not know how you can pick a James Heather either possibly a lot older or even a lot younger and then say " Could this be him" the fact a Jane Heather nee Fuller married a William Turner gives credence to Jane in the Workhouse with children being his wife, but in his case no 1871/1881 once again best route the marriage certificate !

PS on one baptism he was a Soldier, I have looked but may has missed any records for him.

It will take a few weeks to get the marriage certificate ...if they can even find it. Which I have no guarantee that it even exists --at this point....have to look for some information before I even try to order it --to make sure my facts are correct...to get the certificate...

Hi going back to the 1871 for Charlotte with a married mother Jane aged 33 b Chiddingfold and also a Mary aged 3 b Hambledon :-

Baptism Mary Jane Heather 2nd February 1868 Chiddingfold Father James Mother Jane

Do not know what happened to these two after 1871 at present .

I also presume you have the birth certificate of Charlotte to know her exact date of birth,  would I be correct?
If Jane Fuller is shown as mother,  their is this possible marriage :-

That couple married 4th July 1863 Kirdford , Sussex

You don't need any more information beyond the quarter, year, Registration District, name and ref numbers. Which have already been found in the index.

What other information were you going to look for? We have been looking at what can be found for this family, and what has been found points towards that marriage. Cant go any further without getting that marriage cert.

If you want to be more sure that her Mums maiden name was Fuller (though Keyboard has found stuff that backs that up) then you will need to get her birth cert first.
