Wills

Is anyone able to check some Wills for me when they are next at the appropriate archive? If so let me know and I'll add names and details.

Matt
PS I'm not looking for copies or transcripts at the moment, just names and relationships of people mentioned.

If you're looking for early wills it's a big ask. I've not found them easy to find and the writing can be difficult to read.

There are some RAYNER will extracts here

Hi all

Thanks for those quick replies. I have references for some Wills held at local archives such as the Canterbury Cathedral Archives but am currently unable to visit them to check the records myself. It would be helpful to me if someone who is visiting an archive (mainly the CCA) could let me know and check one or two of these. All of these are pre 1858 Wills.

Hi there

I use that website a lot but sadly the Wills I am looking for (including some Rayner ones) are not listed on it. Hence the need to check the records at the archives or look at transcripts.
