Sorry, I am not being very clear! I have forgotten how to access census records with just an address :-\ Also I can't remember if this is possible in Scotland.
I really need to find the parish.
Can anyone assist?

Hi all ,

FreeCEN seem to have it as Coldhome Tarves in 1841 , James Struth 50 farmer.

In 1881 Cauldhame was occupied by James Strath (probably the son of James Struth above).  The farm is described as 120 acres with 3 men, 2 girls & 1 boy employed.

Thank you all! I have just found the 1841 census entry.
Lots to investigate now!

Could some kind person take pity on me and remind me how to search a census with just the address?
The Strath family seem to have relocated from Cauldhame by 1891 :(

On Ancestry put Tarves in the ' lived in' box and Cauldhame in the 'keyword ' box. Seems to be a family called Rothnie there in 1891.
