Hi, Looking for any info on Benjamin Thomas born abt 1853. On his death certificate place of birth  is 'Brights Leade Ha??lets of St Noarlow Wales' ?????The writing is pretty faint. He came to Australia in 1879 so is not on th 1881 census

His parents were Levi Thomas & Maria Thomas (maiden name also Thomas). The only Levi & Maria I can find were born 1820 Levi at St Dogwells, Maria at Pontfaen.

Hi Tracey,

I  think we might have a connection, My G G Grandfather was Benjamin Thomas, parents Maria and Levi. My Benjamin was born 1852 in Wales arrived in Aust sometime before 1879, married Alice Cox in Sydney in 1879. and died Arakoon NSW 1916.


Could you let me if you feel there is a connection or not,
