HYMAS
« on: Saturday 13 June 15 18:49 BST (UK) »
I have John Hymas born 1831 in Rayleigh, Essex, married to Louisa Page born 1834 in Southchurch, Essex.  I have been unable to find the parents for John Hymas, any help would be appreciated.  :D

Who are the witnesses for the marriage?    They may well be family members.

Only found the record of the marriage, not applied for the cert yet, so it only shows who he married, there is no record showing up on Freereg either unfortunately.

08.05.1831 John baptised Rayleigh, parents Edward & Mary Hymas. Another site records a marriage between Edward Hymas and Mary Ann Sewell (he from Rayleigh and she from Eastwood) on 13.09.1817 in Essex. |Haven't found where yet.

Thank you so much, suppose it is logical that then spelling would change.
