So that seems confirm that we need to discount the 1923 NSW marriage that cupcake mentions in the OP.... so I continue to be concerned about the naming of a daughter of that 1923 marriage that is likely for some other Charles R ......

It can be very important to obtain the NSW BDM certificates/official transcription and checking the information on those documents, particularly NSW marriages which give first hand information supplied by both parties re their own parentage as well as their own births .....If only to validate known info before e-publishing on public forums.

I trust our OP is not (inadvertently) seeking us to help search for living relatives.

"Please do not post requests asking for help to find (possibly) living relatives or friends.
RootsChat is a forum for searching for ancestors. Anything posted on the internet is in the public domain where anybody can see this information. To protect people and their identities we do not encourage the posting of information about people who are or maybe still living.
Even with permission from the subject of a post we would seriously advise against giving too much information as to betray their identity. "

and from the Australia Board stickied to the top.....
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=368728.0
"Here on RootsChat we are very concerned that the privacy and security of the living is protected. For this reason we do not allow searches for living persons. Although we fully understand you would like recent information to add to your tree, or that you may wish to make contact with birth families, relatives you lost contact with when they immigrated to Australia, missing family or friends, we are afraid we are unable to assist you.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this causes you but we are sure you will appreciate the reasons for this. "

.......
If you are looking for living descendants, that is fine provided you do not provide details of these living persons. If you are providing details of someone we are likely to suspect may still be living, but you know is deceased, please state this."

It seems it was a Charles Roy who married Stella Jane in 1923  as per NSW BDM #5663 registered Bombala district. (Add NSW BDM has it as 20 June 1923) It seems his dates are 1900-1979 and his bride’s are  1904-1964.

So, not a Charles Robert  ::) at all.

Well found cupoflife, and that poster is also confuddled about the daughter...

Cheers,  JM
