Hi, I am looking for other information on my 3x Great Grandfather John L.F. Voigt born 1830, last I found him living in Newark NJ in 1910 where he was living with his daughter Mary Roder (born 1859). Any other information would be appreciated. Who was the mother of Mary?

Where were John and Mary born, and any censuses you have found them on?

That 1910 census gives Mary's parents both as German, and John's immigration year as 1880. Just showing as John Voight, not John L F Voight.
Also, Mary has been married 32 years.

In 1900 he appears as Frederick Voight, living with Paul and Mary, and his immigration year is 1850, so misread the year from 1910.
Fits with Mary A born in New Jersey in August 1858.

In 1880 Paul W Roder appears to be married to Antoinette (daughter Anna L age 2 shows in other census).

So, is Mary A the same as Antoinette?

There is a LDS Pedigree Resource File with a spelling variation of the surname - which indicates the name was Marie Antoinette Veight  (which would support the 1880 census entry Chempat found for you) - not a lot of info on the pedigree resource file though

The initals for Frederick C with Mary Roder on the 1900 census vary from the John L F Voigt you are looking - that does seem strange. 
There is a John Leonard Voigt born 1830 Germany with a wife Mary Rollman in Sherman, Chautauqua, New York 

Paul William Roder, Newark, was born in Basel, Switzerland, in 1852, is a son of Charles and Anna (Guenther) Roder, and came with his parents to Newark in 1800. (Think that date is a misprint) In 1873 he became a member of the staff of the Newarker Post and in 1874 of the New Jersey Frie Zeitung, and later of the New York Staats Zeitung. He read law with the late Hon. Caleb S. Titsworth, and was graduated from the Columbia Law School in 1881. The same year he was appointed judge of the First Criminal Court of Newark, but resigned to become tax commissioner. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in February, 1884. May 28, 1877, he married Marie Antoinette Voigt.

I think you have the Wrong John Voigt. His name is/was John Ludwig Frederick Voigt born in Germany. He had a son with Annie Balzer my 2x great grandfather William Voigt. Search continues.
