Jameson Death

Looking for the death of Christopher Jameson b. 1867 Berwick on Tweed.  He married  Agnes Ann Cromarty nee Hope in 1905 in Berwick. In 1901 cencus he is living with his parents in Berwick.    He was a batcheolor when he married she was widowed. Any info greatly appreciated

He died 2nd March 1913, drowned off Berwick Pier, in the vessel Hebe  :(

The report of that death is in the Berwickshire News and General Advertiser 11th March 1913

It says
He leaves a widow and a young family of 5

If you have access to the 1911 census, looking for him on ancestry, try a first name of "Christpfor"

The death was registered in the Deaths at Sea register, not in the usual GRO index

Many thanks for this. I would never have found this info without your help. His wife Agnes was widowed yet again after only 8 years of marriage. Perhaps she married again for the 3rd time. Back to the drawing board. Again many thanks
