What is this name please?
« on: Thursday 25 June 15 20:00 BST (UK) »
A nice boring list of names - James, Jean, James, Ann, Andrew. But what on earth is the name of the six-year-old son in this family in Dundee in 1861?

I have the 1871 census, and I know what I think it says, but I don't want to pre-judge it here.

He vanishes from the records after 1871.

Phannel is a surname. Maybe a maiden name from further back?
