I am looking for the ancestors of Henry Mowbray Michael 1852-1926.
I have most of his descendent. He is my great great great grandfather.
His Wife: Ella Purdy Michael (born Stuart) 1971-1950
6 Sons: Henry William Michael b.fiji 1890-1974, Ernest Augustus Mowbray Michael b. fiji 1898-1916, Herbert Austin Seymour Michael 1900-1981, Manly Michael 1902-1986, Oswald Michael (B.D. dates unknown), Cecil Kershaw Purdie Michael 1895-1982.

I have a feeling that this MICHAEL family has been the subject of an earlier search in this forum ??
I'll have a look for any mention.

The marriage notice for his son Henry William in 1913 states he was the son of Henry Mowbray MICHAEL, of Navua, FIJI.

Henry Mowbray MICHAEL seems to appear on NZ electoral rolls from 1914 (residing at Auckland).
