I wasn't aware there had been children from first marriage. my grandmother was a child from his second marriage. So I am now intrigued about the first family of children, did he just abandon them??

I was wondering whether Mary was still alive and was elsewhere with the children possibly under another surname, with a new man in her life  :-\
