james francis alexander judd

Looking for a ancestor, james francis alexander judd, born 1869, lived with his mother and siblings in 1871 at the medway union workhouse, kent england.  His father was Job  James Judd, and his mother was Margaret (cadd) Judd.  I cannot find anything else on him, where he might have lived or if and when he died, and where he died.  His father and three of his siblings immigrated to the united states, liv ed in cleveland, Ohio Cuyahoga County.  If anyone can find out more about this James Francis Alexander Judd, i would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you, marlene

Have you got either of his parents/siblings in 1881?

When did they emigrate?  I take it the mother had died.

Hello, His mother Margaret Judd, was born 1836 s wales pembrooke, and she died in Dartford, Kent, Uk, April 1885, In the 1881 census she is living at the kent county asylum,, barming heath, england and is listed as a lunatic.  None of her surviving children are with her on this 1881 census Her son, Luther john james judd, son wallace sidney bruce judd, son frederick whitfield judd, all moved to the united states and settled in cleveland ohio where they are all buried.  I just cant find what happened to James Francis Alexander Judd.  Someone put on ancestry.co.uk  under the member section that he died in dartford in 1963 age 94, but i cannot verify that to be true.  So i would love to know what really happened to James Francis Alexander.  Margaret and James originally had 9 children, most living with her in the medway union workhouse, and died there.  Only the four i mentioned here survived.  Thank you for any help you might have, marlene  usa

Also i forgot , i believe the immigration was between 1871 and 1873 as their father  job james judd, came to cleveland ohio  during that time,  and married a woman named ellen long.

I wonder about this , since he was born in 1869, i found proof of that.  If so then he would have been 94.

The death on 31 Jan 1963, Dartford is for a James Frederick Abraham Judd age 75. So you can discount that one.

Thats what i thought, its strange there is no sight of him anywhere.
